Mr. Nenninger’s impressive background spans both the legal and investment banking fields. Prior to co-founding Energy Advisory Partners, he held a prominent position as a partner at a renowned law firm with a team of over 700 attorneys. During his tenure, Mr. Nenninger facilitated transactions worth $11 billion dollars.
At Energy Advisory Partners, Mr. Nenninger was involved in over $300 million in M&A transactions in the power sector. As an attorney, he provided comprehensive legal counsel to clients in a wide range of structured finance transactions. This included advising on the issuance of notes, debentures, and equity instruments, as well as handling merger and transactions, project financings, international export credit-agency loans, and public financings.
In 2015, Mr. Nenninger founded Smart Law, a leading personal injury firm based in Illinois. Under his leadership, Smart Law experienced significant growth and achieved an ROI of over 100%. However, to prioritize the sale of assets at Energy Advisory Partners, he made the decision to suspend operations at Smart Law. That asset sale took place in November 2019.
For the past decade, Ms. Crowell’s career has focused on representing thousands of plaintiffs in all types of highly complex litigation matters, including multi-district litigation, mass torts, product liability, contract litigation, and commercial litigation, and has successfully recovered millions of dollars in compensation on behalf of her clients.
Ms. Crowell has worked on coordinating and leading several consolidated actions and MDLs in State and Federal courts on behalf of plaintiffs and their attorneys, nationwide. Moreover, her experience is not limited to simply litigating cases at the trial court level but taking them through appeal when necessary.
Additionally, Ms. Crowell has worked with and mentored lawyers in many litigations, including hernia mesh, metal-on-metal hip implants, Taxotere, Roundup litigation, sex trafficking, and sex abuse litigations on a national level.
Ms. Crowell has had the privilege of being appointed to several prestigious leadership committees, where she gained invaluable and unique experience in mass tort litigation.
Ms. Gordon’s passion for law was ignited during her time as a legal assistant at The Lanier Law Firm in New York. Following her graduation from The George Washington University Law School, she pursued an internship at the New York County District Attorney’s Office, where she served as a legal advisor in the Health Rights Law Clinic.
Ms. Gordon’s demonstrated commitment to justice and allegiance to safeguarding the welfare of the community, led her to accepting a position with the Bronx County District Attorney Office. Before being named Supervisor of the Violent Criminal Enterprise Bureau, she spent eight years serving as Assistant District Attorney (ADA) assigned to Narcotics, Intake, and Criminal Court Bureaus.
A significant part of Ms. Gordon career included overseeing and conducting proactive and reactive investigations into patterns of violence, firearms tracking, police impersonation robberies, human trafficking, and murder for hire. She routinely wrote applications for search warrants for residential and commercial establishments, electronics, social media accounts, historical cell site records, and pen registers/trap and trace/GPS warrants.
Ms. Gordon skillfully handled all aspects and stages of criminal prosecution, demonstrating her expertise to the pursuit of truth. She meticulously drafted accusatory instruments, engaged in rigorous motion practice, and presented compelling testimonial, video, photographic, and scientific evidence (DNA, fingerprint) to Grand Juries and at trial.
